Kosmesis Talismanic Lipgloss

Where Kosmesis as the Talismanic lipstick gave fixed form, we draw on the more Lunar and reflective parts of the Taurean realm! The cascades and hidden pathways deep in the mountain that hold springs and rivers for the numen of the Nymphai and water spirits reside!

This is what we explore with this new artifact and form of Kosmesis to complete the Kosmesis capsule: Lipstick, Eyeshadow, and Lipgloss, all alchemizing the amorous love recipes shared by Ali A Olomi. Turning to Marsilio Ficino’s alchemy of medicine, where the metal or incense recipe becomes something that can be worn or applied to the body, is the basis and reference used for this project.

“Let the waters settle and you will see the moon and the stars mirrored in your own being.” - Rumi

Lip gloss to me has been so essential to the experience of femininity, allure, and Illusion. Where the lipstick gives us color, form, and function to create a base, it’s lip gloss that brings life and illumination to most looks, from the shine, to the glittery, and the opaque laquer the lipglosses ability to reflect light and draw attention has fascinated both lovers and me as my favorite part and most desired cosmetics to bring to you, diva.

The Liquid Mirror:

The essential science behind lip gloss is to create a surface that is smooth enough in the formula for light reflection!

This science is so interesting when looking through the astrological/occult lens.

Under this same notion, the consistent application of something life-giving, like a balm to fortify the skin, can share the benefits of the sympathetic ingredients in said balm or salve. This notion of “mutual infusion” becomes especially fascinating when you consider the continuous act of self-care! The continual acts of fortifying the self with a specific “ray” are akin to the notion of sympathy in medical alchemy and science.

Ficino reminds us:

Chapter 17: What power is possessed by figures in the sky and figures under the sky

“The gentle figure of a mirror, concave, shining in harmony with the sky, properly receives the heavenly gift that focuses collectively the rays of Phoebus (SUN) into itself… a heavenly gift that is given through the figure made with an art similar to heaven's own. This gift is first conceived in the thing itself, then passed to the nearest person or the person carrying it.”

In the ancient world, this would be created through the use of balms, oils, and unguents made according to the stars! Our modern technology and science allow us to intertwine these ancient notions with our current-day cosmetics and self-care items.

Would the lip gloss have been attributed to the Venus/Moon?

I personally think so! This has been proven by the plethora of Butters, Salves, and Oils of beauty created by Sphere and Sundry, which have set the standard for this cosmetic notion I have followed! My personal favorite is the archival Empress body butter (SO DIVINE)

To reflect the rays of the planet while having the liquid mirror (lip gloss) infused with the essence of a specific light/power has proven to allow the lips to become a mirror to the Kosmos... The result brings us the same high caliber magic but with a deeper relation to the self/adornment and “kosmesis.”

Where the perfume creates a scent, the body butter gives a feeling to the skin when touched, colored cosmetics push the glamour even further by reflecting and refracting light particles to your favor, depending on the sheen, glow, and structure you have given yourself with your makeup look! To capture the essence of LIGHT to your magical favor has been such a key point to understanding the specific power micas/glitters have in the world of magic. How the same mixing of minerals, iron oxides, and pearls is STILL very alive. Where Cleopatra’s raw Lapiz Lazuli set the baseline, our modern day still pulverizes minerals and rocks you still wear to this day!

The only thing forgotten has been the attuning of the celestial item to the nature of its ruler: Venus.

The understanding of the mirror and the modern look and use of them as miscellaneous beauty items that have morphed into glass screens that reflect our thoughts, image, and reality back to us has quite an occult history.

Walter Crane - The Mirror of Venus, British. ca. 1890

This notion shares the same disdain as that shared by people in the 14th and 15th century and their opinions on new technologies and how “vain and depraved” it was for women to carry small mirrors as the printing press and mirror both became accesible to the regular human and not the upper class where the mirror has retined its value as a talisman for european powers like the Mage to like the Medici magic mirror in the renaissance world akin to the use of them in the ancient world like the aztec in mexico and the egypt, the obsession of Leonardo da Vinci as a concept and artistic tool.

The image of a woman gazing at her beauty in the mirror brings us back to the ancient, esoteric use of the mirror as a tool of Venus.

From the Greek stories of Narcissus to instructions from the most famous ancient grimoire, giving us the instructions on “how to pray to Venus” from book three, chapter seven of the Picatrix, highlights the power attributed to the goddess:

“The other manner is to adorn yourself entirely as a woman. Dress yourself in a long garment of silk and gold mixed together, precious and beautiful, and on your head wear a crown ornamented with pearls and precious stones…. and in your right hand hold a mirror, and in your left carry a comb.”

The slow transformation of a relic only accessible to the ancient and a symbol of allure and connection to the goddess. The reflection can show us our desires and beauty, but also horror and disgust.

Rene Magritte - Magie Noire, Date: 1945; Brussels, Belgium.

How can equipping our eyes, lips, and cheeks with the highest celestial order of cosmetics aid us in the attunement to something more divine? The same divine beings that waited on the otherside of these mirrors to be sumomned and called by the ancient world.

Can the secret of the ancient mirror be translated to the reflections your lover sees in your lips and eyes?

The idea that one can cloak oneself in the celestial rays of Venus and Jupiter and reflect virtues through speech, gaze, and mere presence.

Can you capture the lover only through the gaze?

Or through the uttering of her secret divine names as you apply your lip glaze?

With each step, the Veneficum of Venus draws us closer to that which we desire.

This has been the virtue of Caelestis, who inspires the image here, “Black magic” to be included in this article. Name selected while I flew back from a trip where some of the most bountiful of realities sprang from, literally soaring above the clouds.

In client divination sessions, clients love encounters, adressing of managers with favor and victory, getting selected by the most exalted of mages to test their new life changing magic is the result of consistent use of this Lipgloss technology!!!

Kosmesis vs Caelestis

Caelestis evokes a much more cardinal sentiment. Where Kosmesis focuses on the fortification of established relationships and how to move the weeds that hinder growth, Caelestis gushes with new opportunities, exaltations, and emotions toward new energies in your sphere. The nature of Jupiter and Venus in the sign of Cancer is to gather resources that provide nurturance and pleasure.“Lucky streaks” and upliftment from those in managerial positions have been a major sync of this specific collection. Connection to feminine water spirits, Ladies in the spiritual court, and the actual ability to hear the call of the sirens but not be consumed by the chaos it can evoke to the uninitiated ear, the creation of this gloss followed the visitation by water spirits and their protection in the eyes of the storm. Sustained in the frenzy and chaos of the current world by the aid of Jupiter!

  • New relationships, places, and people were brought into the life

  • Sweetening and support in being uplifted by Jovial people (priest, teachers, managers, nobles)

  • Connection to nurturing spirits of water and exalted results in theurgy with such retinue

  • Amazing beach days

  • New love encounters and refreshing of palette and energies within relationships.

Kosmesis Talismanic LipGloss
$44.44

Second itteration from the Kosmesis, Venus in Taurus capsule!

This lipgloss is a golden holographic gloss that was infused with the amorous love powder made while venus was in the sign of Taurus in 2025

Kosmesis brings the fortifying aspect of the self; the image of the person’s natural beauty is something I notice this formula focuses on.

  • The delight of what is natural and has that reminds me of soft pastures, kept with the same consistent love. In the realm of makeup, this is the soft makeup look or “staple” glam that is consistent and the classic shade that you know goes with everything (the eyeshadow that is more pan than color, jaja). The raising of the libido and desire to engage with more self-care and create consistent patterns around self-adornment and taking care of the self here.

    • Fortifying

    • Clarifying of hinderences in relationships

    • Sweetening of old relationships / established ones

    • Raises desire for fixed routines of self-care / adornment to the body and sphere

    • Love encounters surrounding food and high art

I hope you enjoy this new addition and packaging. This is 1/2 new shades that complete the original capsules imagined a year ago for you, diva! Inspired by the luxury houses and finished off with a dusting of the powder blend of Venus in the sign of Taurus, may her garden of lush delights find its way to you!
