What makes something enchanted or talismanically infused with the essence of the artist creating cosmetics and “Kosmetikos”, shares the same parallel that sacred rituals attributed to Cleopatra and ancient grimoires seek to evoke: Glamour.
The sacred art of plants, potions, and herbs in relation to cosmetics and otherness has been the study for about 9 years, and the peak fruits of this project.
From the raw ingredients to the precise use of electional astrology to create beauty items that represent Venus in the forms and creations the ancient world called her through prayer, incense, and sacred names to awaken the latent virtues in the recipes brought forth in her garden of creation.
Marsilio Ficino reminds us:
“But who does not know that the occult virtues of things, which are called "specific virtues" by natural philosophers, are made not by the elemental nature, but by the celestial? And so the rays can (as they say) imprint in images forces occult and wonderful beyond those we know, just as they introduce them into all things.

Upon the finishing of my first Talismanic project in my Three Graces collection for Austin Coppocks FOA Graduation project, I knew that creating something wet and juicy was the image that inspired this artifact.
While Kosmesis had a fixed form, warm peach tones reminiscent of the clay deposits found in Puerto Rico - we call it “el barro” jajaja
the clay-inspired nude held the image of Taurus and the fixed firm bullet lipstick form meeting the Taurean archetypes and color schemes of the cold fixed earth Taurus is associated with.
With Caelestis, the silver tones in the packaging and the subtle blue shift that turns into clear glass when swiped on the lips represent the twinkle and reflection of the waters in the island where the numen were conjured to bless this creation.
Jupiter in Cancer: Degree of Exaltation.
The main aspect we see in this chart is the Night of the Moon on Thursday, during the hour of Jupiter.

This powder was then taken and infused into the lip gloss and mother vessel of some unspoken Talismans and a collaborative pearl of enchantment per the amorous love series cast by a goldsmith at the same time on the island (with this same mix set underneath). Powerful cardinal moment to have my first of many collections cast by a fellow Boricua, awakening the traditions of adornment our Taino ancestors venerated with just as much reverence.

Does he who disciplines nations not punish?
Its the ability of the gardens walls to fortify and protect the new growth and prescious life and items we hold closest, the evoking of the spirit of my home land anchored this prayer of protection leading to an exchange with the mother ceiba tree and the power of the roots to be so strong they allow the dead to be the fortifiers of the Jovial homes and fortune we nurture and create, a sucessful pact with Atabey.
The exaltation of a planet like the Moon or Jupiter in these feminine signs speaks to the power of roots and the depth they bring, along with the strength to endure.
(after all, the moon and sun are in fixed signs in this election).
Times will not become easier, and fortune through speech and finding communities that fill our chalice up with bounty, upflitment and mutual aid and success is the goal and the sync of this series.
Even when the monetary point leaves, the soul is uplifted by the good daimons and spirits that exalt us even in the darkest and most cursed of times. May that same exaltation find you who are reading this amidst wars in Iran, Palestine, Venezuela, and countless other atrocities committed by those who feel justified by the unsavory parts of Jupiter’s transit through the sign of Cancer: Extremist Clannish ostracism.
To find Jupiter, we must pour into the other without undermining them, belittling or coveting that which we cannot bear to watch the other exalt in.
