As I was studying over the last year, I noticed that I found in the Spanish / Catalan translations of the 1612 Ghayat al-Hakim manuscript by Marcelino Villegas in 1978.
Some pearl recipes were missing from early translations of Picatrix in the West.
Picatrix is a composite work that synthesizes older works on magic and astrology. But in the western translations, I saw the word “Perla,” which translates to pearl as other stones, which made me question where those spells were! Dan Atrell’s translation does a nice job of translating them over.
Pearl and rhinestone glam coming back to the algorithm and the “euphoria” trend have kept me in the translucent violets, blues, and hues of chrome shift and sky blues. It was only fitting to reflect this in the enchanted nail set!
The results of this collection have drawn aid, the inherent nature of the pearl to soften or create a “filtered” look as an experience when worked in skincare, beauty, and as a color evokes the sense of beauty and purity Venus is associated with, and Luna / Jove helps bring the aid to whose hands are annointed with good fortune!
